Results...
...are updated on GMS every Sunday evening - by our willing Volunteers.

Late Results make additional work...
  ...and the volunteers a little less willing.


1. Reporting Results...

  1. Both Teams MUST CONFIRM the score with the Referee.
  2. Also agree the score with your Opposite Number.
  3. The Referee is the FINAL arbiter of the Score
  4. Scores should be submitted before 6pm Sunday to Your Own League's Whatsapp Group. SEE THIS: Example Result Submission
  5. You could even Send in your Result as you leave the field of play....
    Many Managers do !!
  6. Postponed games must also be reported back before 6pm Sunday.

2. LEAGUE CUP Results...

  1. Both Team Managers MUST Submit Results to the Colts League
    Fixtures WhatsApp Group, preferably immediately after the game.
  2. Results should be submitted before 6pm Sunday latest.
  3. Use @Steve Mooney to address your Result.
  4. State the Cup Competition (CUP / PLATE / SHIELD / BOWL)...
    IN CAPITALS (indicating whether Senior or Junior).
  5. Then detail the Teams and Result...
  6. State whether there were Uncontested Scrums.
  7. Then Add Your Name & Team.

3. ELECTRONIC MATCH CARD (EMC) Results...

  1. EMC's must be completed in advance in line with the Match Card Regs.
  2. Completed EMC's must be submitted by Monday 6pm.

4. Failure To Report a Result...

...Causes extra work for your LeagueSecs and delays the production of the Results & League Tables, therefore please ensure your results are submitted in Good time.

  1. Failure to accurately and promptly complete and submit the EMC will result in a sanction as deemed appropriate by the League...
  2. Such failures may include points deductions or the awarding of a game.

Sanctionable offences include:

  • Late / None Reported Results on Whatsapp Groups...
  • Late / None Reported Postponements...
  • Late Submission of EMC's (over 24Hrs Late)...
  • Failure to Report Yellow / Red Cards.
  • Deliberate Attempts to Falsify an EMC.
  • Repeat offenders will be dealt with as deemed appropriate by the League Exec.

5. Red Cards...

  1. Referees are obliged to submit a Sending off Report to the County Disciplinary Secretary when they have issued a Red Card.
  2. NB: Referees can issue Red Cards to miscreants before during or after a Colts League match.
  3. Managers MUST ENSURE Red Cards are recorded on the EMC under MATCH EVENTS.
  4. You should also notify Red Cards to your own Senior Club Secretary.

  6. Always look after your Referee who is a guest of your Club...
    ...and who knows ~ you might meet them again !!
