Post-Match Regulations...

Results...
...are updated on GMS every Sunday evening - by our willing Volunteers.

Late Results make additional work...  and the volunteers a little less willing.


1. Reporting Results...

  1. It is good practice to check the score with the Referee.
  2. Also agree the score with your Opposite Number.
  3. You could even Send in your Result as you leave the field of play....
    Many Managers do !!

2a. LEAGUE MATCH Results...

  1. Both Team Managers MUST Submit Results to their own League's WhatsApp Group, preferably immediately after the game.
  2. Results should be submitted before 6pm Sunday latest.
  3. SEE THIS Example Result Submission
  4. Postponed games must also be reported back by WhatsApp...
    before 6pm Sunday.

2b. LEAGUE CUP Results...

  1. Both Team Managers MUST Submit Results to the Colts League
    Fixtures WhatsApp Group, preferably immediately after the game.
  2. Results should be submitted before 6pm Sunday latest.
  3. State the Cup Competition (CUP / PLATE / SHIELD / BOWL)...
    IN CAPITALS (indicating whether Senior or Junior).
  4. Then detail the Teams and Result...
  5. State whether there were Uncontested Scrums.
  6. Then Add Your Name & Team.

3. MATCH CARD Results...

  1. Match Cards must be completed in line with the Match Card Regs.
  2. Match Cards must be handed to the Referee before each match.
  3. Winning Team Managers must send Match Cards to the League by eMail - before Monday 6pm. per the Match Card Regs.
  4. If a Draw then Home Team Manager should send the Match card.
  5. NB: No need to copy your LeagueSec - they automatically receive a copy.

4. Failure To Report a Result... 

...Causes extra work for your LeagueSecs and delays the production of the Results & League Tables.

Therefore Please ensure your results are submitted on time.

Sanctionable offences include:

  1. Late / None Submitted Match Results...
  2. Late / None Reported Postponements...
  3. Late Match Cards...
  4. Match Cards sent as .JPG's...
    Repeat offenders will be dealt with as deemed appropriate by the League Committee...

5. Red Cards...

  1. Referees are obliged to submit a Sending off Report to the County Disciplinary Secretary when they have issued a Red Card.
  2. NB: Referees can issue Red Cards to miscreants before during or after a Colts League match.
  3. Managers must check Red Cards are marked on the Match Card.
  4. You should also notify Red Cards to your own Senior Club Secretary.
  5. The Disciplinary Regulations detail further information.
  6. Always look after your Referee, who is a guest of your Club... and you might meet them again !!
