The MOTiQ NW Colts League Cup Competitions run in-line with the dates specified in the 2026/2027 Structured Season.

This is a Falling Down Competition as illustrated below:

Senior Cup:

32 Teams.

All 32 x Teams play in the CUP First Round on Sun 04th October.

Winners stay in the CUP; Losers drop into the PLATE.

The 2nd Round involves 16 Teams in the CUP and 16 Teams in the PLATE.

2nd Round CUP Losers drop into the BOWL.

1st Round PLATE Losers drop into the SHIELD.

3rd & 2nd Rounds involve 8 Teams in the CUP,
8 in the BOWL, 8 in the PLATE and 8 in the SHIELD.

Everyone has played three games, but now losers exit the competition.

Semi Finals involve 4 teams in each of the 4 Competitions.

Finals Day involves 8 teams, 2 in each of the 4 Competitions.

Finals Day has 8 of the original 32 teams involved.

They will compete for the CUP, BOWL, PLATE, and SHIELD Finals.

22 Teams.

12 x Teams play in the CUP First Round on Sun 04th October and 10 get a Bye.

The 2nd Round of the CUP is the 6 x Winners of the 1st Round
plus the 10 x Byes.

Winners stay in the CUP; Losers drop into the PLATE.

4 x Cup 1st Round Losers (Drawn at Random) Play in a PLATE QF for a place in the Plate SF. 2 x Teams Get a Bye to the Plate SF.

The CUP 3rd Round has the 8 x Winners playing a CUP QF.
Winners to the CUP SF.

The 8 x 2nd Round CUP Losers play in the BOWL QF.
Winners to the BOWL SF.

The 2 x PLATE QF Winners plus 2 x Byes play the PLATE SF.
Winners to the PLATE Final.

The 4 x BOWL QF Winners play in the BOWL SF.
Winners to the BOWL Final.

The 2 x PLATE SF Losers play in the SHIELD Final.

Finals Day has 8 of the original 22 teams involved.

They will compete for the CUP, BOWL, PLATE, and SHIELD Finals.

Entry is automatic and free of charge to Member Teams, all of whom are entitled to be entered into the draw for these League Cup competitions.
