There is also an EMC HelpDesk available weekends:
Tel: 0208 831 7764
Open Fri @ 5pm to 8pm,
Sat / Sun @ 12pm to 7pm.

This number is ONLY to be used by Club Admins and Match Card Administrators and ONLY for any match day queries, such as:

  • EMC (Electronic Match Card) problems.
  • Match day selection for the Teams.
  • Registrations (something preventing a player from being selected on EMC)
  • Competition issues and submitting the Match Card.

Useful Notes:

PICKING YOUR TEAM:
Firstly CHECK with your GMS Admin that you are LEVEL 3 and have a role of MATCH CARD ADMINISTRATOR.

Login to GMS a few days before your next fixture.  Head to COMPETITION MANAGEMENT and select the appropriate match card...
Then pick your team for the match, indicating Front Row with Y where required.
This can be changed later.

Please note if using the MOBILE version you access the match card slightly differently (see this guide) EMC ~ Mobile Guide

Remember, you can save your favourite line-up by entering a name for your selection at the foot of the Match Card, meaning you can use this as a starting point each week should you wish.

Alternatively, you can select the Team you chose the previous week by choosing the Previous Matches icon and from the dropdown list selecting a previous week’s line-up to populate your team sheet.

This line-up can then be edited accordingly.
Make sure you then click Save at the bottom of the page.

If a Player cannot be found whilst searching to add them to a line-up there are 3 points to check:
- Is the player affiliated to your Club ??
- If yes, then has the player been assigned to the correct squad/team via Team Management ??
- If still not working try unassigning from the Team and assigning again.

Ensure you view the Playing Squad menu to see Players that will appear available for selection in the EMC.

Please note any affiliated only Player will show up on an EMC with (NER) next to their
name – this is just to denote that they are Not Effectively Registered.

For Colts League games Players MUST be Effectively Registered.
Speak to your GMS ADMIN / REGISTRAR to resolve any registration issues.

DURING THE MATCH (OPTIONAL):
You can use the mobile version of the EMC to add events during the game.
This can include tries, substitutions, disciplinary etc...

POST MATCH:
At the end of the match, open the ‘score’ (mobile) or ‘post-match’ (desktop) tab.

Ensure you enter the final score (as agreed with the Referee) and enter the number of tries scored for each side; this will ensure relevant bonus points are allocated correctly !!

You MUST enter any disciplinary details in MATCH EVENTS before submitting the EMC.  All Cards issued by the Referee must be recorded. Failure to record a Red Card may lead to a sanction from the League, Your CB, or the RFU...

Remember, you still need to submit the Match Card on GMS. To do this, first, confirm with your Opposition that all submitted information is correct ~ then choose the confirmation tab and ensure all boxes requiring confirmation have been selected.

Then Save...
Then choose: Submit Match Card.

NB:
The Home Team is responsible for ensuring that the Match Result Card is completed and submitted within 48 hours of the match as required by Colts League Regulations.

ERRORS:
We all make mistakes from time to time.  If you realise you have made an error, please raise it as soon as possible with your League Secretary who will try to help and rectify the mistake.

Life is a Gradual Learning Process... 🙏 Live Long & Prosper...
