POST-16 RUGBY CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE:

Full time Rugby & Education programme Starting in September 2026.

FURTHER INFORMATION:
This is a full time educational college course, operated independently by Macclesfield Rugby Club. (Not affiliated to any other college or programme).

It is an alternative to 6th Form A-Levels.

It will operate during usual academic term time and hours:
Monday to Friday 09.30 to 15.30.

Dates for Academic Year 2026/2027 will be confirmed by the Tutors.
September to May.

Qualifications Studied are:
NCFE Level 2 in Sport
BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport
BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport

Additional Tutoring Support in Maths & English.

Rugby Played:
All players will play for Macclesfield Rugby Union CofE Team in regular college fixtures. (These will take place on Wednesdays).

Players are encouraged to remain with and play for their grass-roots clubs on a Sunday (or Saturday).
