Minutes of the Committee Meeting: By Zoom 25th April @ 7pm
Committee Present: Fred Swarbrick, John Powell, Paul Riordan, Peter Harrison, Peter Rhodes, Craig Hines, Craig Ross, Tommy Hughes, Greg King and Ian Cousens,
Apologies: Andy Thompson, Mark Asley and Sarah Shackleton
Matters Arising:

Finance: The RFU monies have now been received from Lancashire RFU - £1,200. Any expenses claims to Greg after end of season dinner
Cup Competition: Both clubs Leigh and Anselmians are fully prepared and programmes are in place
Leagues: 10 points were deducted from Caldy 2 for failure to play their cup semi-final, as per league rules, although this did not make any difference at the top of the premier league

Next Season: Presently JP reported that there had been 11 new requests to join. These include Upper Eden 2nds and Trentham 2nds. A discussion took place about allowing these clubs to join and whether this would lead to further applications from Cumbrian sides. 5 teams have asked to rejoin. JP also reported that the ADM Combi league had only 8 teams but 3 have asked to join us, so there could be more as a 5-team league would not be sustainable.

Dinner: At Preston Grasshoppers, everything is sorted Friday 12th May. Numbers are good although several teams still not asked for tickets, League managers to chase to get teams to book tickets as soon as possible. PR asked if one club could collect their award prior to the dinner as it was their presentation dinner the same night. Permission was given for them to collect it at 6pm on the 12th from PGH

AGM: 4th July at Leigh RUFC. Any proposals need to be with PH before the 19th June. One of the topics that will be raised at the AGM is concedes and expulsion from the leagues. JP asked if everyone could think about this and if they have any ideas could they please send them to him.

AOB: Committee have been nominated for an award at the Honda Volunteer of the year Awards which are to be held at Bolton RUFC on the 7th of July. The invitation is for the whole committee and it was agreed to accept the invitation
