Jon,
Examination of the season's results thusfar (10th Feb) in Senior B will show very few landslide victories but many really close games (we have been in quite a few) so all credit to the League Seeding Committee.

We have gained something from every game we have played and in truth there is very little between all the sides in the league - a few points either way in so many of the games would reveal a very different table.

Every side we have played have been excellent hosts and guests and we wish them all good luck as the cup games approach.

We are particularly grateful to both Chester and Altrincham who have gone to great lengths to get our games played. John Armstrong at Chester could have claimed the points when we were severely short of players before Christmas - massively important to his side who were very prominent at that stage of the season.

As a true sportsman he agreed to play the game on Jan 29 and Collegiate triumphed on the day, possibly depriving Chester of second place.

John and his team took the reverse without a word of regret and were lavish with their praise for our boys. Big man-big side. They get my vote as most sporting side for this season as well as our thanks for all the great games we have had with them over many years.

Editors Note :~
A nice little anecdote for the annals of Colts League Rugby that I thought I should share... Thanks Steve likewise for sharing with us.

The time and effort spent in seeding the Teams into Leagues of similar abilities where the lads can play equitable games is we believe of prime importance to Player development.

Regards in Colts Rugby.
